This will be your new number that you can keep track of your petition when it goes to the Embassy. If you ever have to call them about anything reguarding your packet 3, packet 4, or the interview you will always need to give them your case number to do that. This is your new case number. I wish you a speedy journey the rest of the way!!!!!

To add to what i said this number is not like when you had a case nimber at USCIS. There isn't a tracking website once your petition goes to the Embassy. But you will need to give the Embassy this number whenever you call there with a question about your petition. I hope this helps you.

Ditto. You'll also use this number whenever you call NVC from now on to check on your case.

When I spoke with the NVC after my case was sent to the embassy they said they have nothing to do with it at that point. That now it's time to contact the embassy. Is there truly a packet 4 ? Or maybe this is for a K-3 ?

16/10/2006- Interview date- I'm nervous and my fiance is cool calm and collective. And she's the one that has to do the interview.

Yep, after sending the case to the embassy, NVC is done.
