The current date as of Feb 8th 2006 is August 05 2005. I mailed my I 130 to TSC and it was forwarded to CSC. NOA1 reciept date of July 21st 05. Most people with reciept date in this time frame have already had their applications approved. I am begining to become nervous. Customer service is unable to provide any information other than that I should call after the reciept date has advanced to August 30th 2005. Can anyone offer any suggestions

Once your receipt date is 30 days or more past the TSC processing date you can as they suggested call them. If you still don't get a response as to what is happening with your petition you can ask your congressman to assist in finding out on your behalf. It has been suggested though previously that calling on a congressmans help may cause a petition to be pulled out from whatever it may be undergoing in order to respond which could possibly delay things further. Waiting is difficult so I guess one has to weigh up everything in deciding when and when not to call on a congressmans assistance. Hopefully with the next updated processing time your petition will be approved.

Your case is not yet outside of processing time, in fact, it may be on an officer's desk right now.

When the posted processing date is 30 days past your receipt date, you can put an inquiry in on your case by calling the 1-800#.

Thank you all for your feedback. I think patience is the name of the immigration game.

if you get really worried, there is a number to the csc you can find somewhere that is suppose to be used only in case of emergencies - i had called it because i got a rfe and it was bogus. i don't suggest that you call it just like that - however if enough time has elapsed and nothing occurs, you could give it a shot. just a thought..many in the past have warned against calling that number however - do at your own risk :-)
