Lileth and I received the Approved NOA2 on 2 May 2011 (hard copy) It was approved on 27 April 2011. I have been calling and they still do not have it. I know patience is always good to have....but how long can it take to send a file. It was sent to Portmouth, NH.

Does any one know how long it takes them to get it and process it? I see many NOA2 being sent to Manila within a week after receiving the hard copy. Any information will help. Thank you

I got my approval the same day you did (April 27th).

They received ours on the 4th and it's already sent out to the London Embassy.

We got our hard copy NOA 2 April 16th dated approved April 13 2011. 9 days later we got an NVC notice saying that in one week the peition would be sent to the Manila Embassy so thats about 16 days from when we got the NOA 2 . That's our time frame. Good luck............Aloha..........................Paul

Ours took 3 weeks (04/14-05/05) :(

Call everyday and speak with someone. If they don't have it, they'll tell you the generic "allow up to 15 business days". It's a scripted response for "we have no idea where it is and it's not our problem yet"

Ours took a month. It would have taken longer if we didn't have a congressman on our side pushing USCIS and NVC to look for the case, which was still at the CSC a month after NOA2. Although this isn't common, they can often say to allow them a month, and if you get to that stage, 90 days.

I suggest you email them at NVCInquiry@state.gov. Based from experience, I get more updated response than calling.
