I think you should be ok, but you can also add mails sent to both of you to your address, holiday cards addressed to both of you, health insurance, life insurance/ retirement plan with you as beneficiary. Some banks doesn't require ssn, just present your passport/ CA ID, and your marriage cert. try opening a joint account with your wife's bank, or maybe add your name to her account. Just a suggestion. Me and hubby do have a joint acct but with very few transactions because all our utility bills, credit card bills are linked to his business bank acct. We do have our own bank accounts too.

Good luck friend! If you don't have any other proof then just tell them you didn't have your ssn yet. They'll understand.

As pathway2gc mentioned some banks will let you open joint account without SSN. At the very least your wife can add you as beneficiary on her account, take a copy of that form. Also, a letter or copy of form from her job that states you, her spouse, is the primary contact in case of emergency.

I think if they question why you don't have other proof you can explain why you don't have it - the lack of SSN bacause you haven't received EAD yet.

yes, should be ok, though of course won't hurt if you have something else, like others here mentioned like mail to your address or if you are on your spouses insurance, tax return etc.

USCIS is aware that immigrants won't have a SSN immediately and how important it is to have one in order to have some things established like a bank account, utilies in your name etc. - evidence like that can also be used later on when you file for ROC after having the greencard for almost 2 years and need to proof again that it's a real marriage :)
