Yo te recomendaria que lleves mucho mas de 3 fotos!!!Les encanta ver fotos de todo el proceso de la relacion, con amigos de ambos, familiares, en distintas fechas. Yo mandé 12 en el paquete y el dia de la entrevista lleve un album con 12 fotos mas (distintas a las que ya habia mandado). Me dijeron que las habian mirado todas. Me hicieron algunas preguntas sobre las fotos también y luego de la entrevista me las devolvieron

Si si, pero es que me refiero a las tipo pasaporte!

Es que en el mail que me mandaron dice 3 y en el anexo del mismo mail donde explican en detalle dice 2.

Y no pienses que te vas a salvar de que te stalkee con respecto a mi "Step by Step K1 Visa Interview Instructions for Dummies" (By Carolina)

Hola, hago un llamado a participar a todas aquellas personas que atraviesan el proceso de la Visa K1 en Argentina, para que nos sirva de orientación a quienes nos encontramos unos pasos mas atrás o tal vez para a quienes nosotros superamos por unos pasos adelante... así mismo para quienes esten por iniciar el proceso y a todo el que quiera aportar su granito de arena.

En nuestro caso, en el día de hoy recibimos el NOA2, después de 4 meses, 2 semanas y 1 día del NOA1 (y sin RFE!) y quisiera que me fueran explicando en detalle los próximos pasos, según sus experiencias personales.

Entre la orientación de CarolinaSt y otros foreros recopilé lo siguiente:

Tras recibir el NOA2 el caso es enviado al National Visa Center.

Después de varios días, el ciudadano Estadounidense debe llamar por telefono al NVC para que le asignen un numero nuevo de caso. Tel.:(603) 334-0700

El National Visa Center manda el caso a la embajada de Buenos Aires.

Una vez que la embajada de Buenos Aires tenga el expediente, confirmar si fue recibido, enviando un mail e incluyendo en el asunto el nuevo numero de caso. (Esto es para agilizar y que no se demore mas de lo normal).

La embajada de Buenos Aires manda al beneficiario por email el packet 3 (instrucciones de lo requerido para la entrevista).

Una vez verifican que todo esté en orden, (unos 10 días) envian un email con la fecha y hora de la entrevista, a la cual se acude con todos los originales solicitados (y por las dudas, copia del I-129F).

Me gustaría saber si unicamente se puede depositar la tarifa para la visa en el Banco Ciudad y también tengo bastante curiosidad con el exámen médico! ojalá alguien pueda abundar al respecto.

HACE COMO TRES MESES QUE TENIA IMPRESAS 88 FOTOS jejeje como que son mcuhas no??? y hace un año y medio que saque mi pasaporte en mi pais, que me lo entregaron en un dia, mientras que en la embajada de aca de Bolivia tarda meses a mi suegra se lo acaban de dar despues de seis meses ( la acompañe a retirarlo) fui de viaje inesperado y aproveché y en un dia y a mitad de lo que se paga aca! el certificado mira yo te cuento que luego de volverme me dijo mi novio que nesecitaba el certificado legalizado, mi viejo viajo para alla por que mi abuelo estaba enfermo y lo mande a sacar, cuando el llega acá yo tenia el certificado legalizado y todo en el consulado y nunca me di cuenta que uno de los apellidos de mi papa estaba mal!!!! a los dos meses me di cuenta me quise morir! no sabes como lloré!!! siii! gracias a Dios tengo un tio abogado alla y lo hizo de nuevo arreglo lo del apellido y hace una semana lo tengo en mis manos! no saben el alivio q senti, lo las fotos 5x5 ya las tengo los e-mails me faltan imprimirlos, la semana pasada complete mis vacunas me faltaba la triple viral y la antitetanica( no sabes estuve dos dias con el brazo hinchadoooo y dolia!) bueno acabo de llamar ghoy y pedir a la empresa de cel que me enviaran los resumenes de llamadas y me dijieron que solo pueden enviar los del mes que viene los anteriores no y solo las que yo hago! Ah!Ok ahora entiendo!!Llevá 3 fotos. Yo me acuerdo que saque 4, una para el medical y dps lleve las otras 3 a la embajada. Perdon por no dar el paso a paso de la visa K1 todavia!!En cuanto tenga mas tiempito de sentarme a escribir largo y tendido lo publico en el foro para todos!!Sera pronto, lo prometo!!!

I have one question regarding Form DS-156, the one that has to be filed on-line and then printed out.

I was going to send all printable material (I-134s, etc.) to my novia before hand because it's easier for me to get them done and send to her because she doesn't have a printer. However, because this form needs to be submitted online, I suppose it shouldn't be done until she has actually received the packet, or else that might screw up their system? I suppose we can wait until the packet arrives and then do the form and have her print out copies, but it would be nice to assemble the entire response packet in advance, if possible.

Can anyone who has done the form verify whether you must complete and submit the online form, then print off a copy? Or is it possible to complete and print, but not submit online, until receipt of the packet. I see on the website that if you fill in the online form and then hit "continue," it just provides you with a PDF of the form with all of your information filled in. Does hitting "continue" also submit the form to the appropriate embassy/official, or just give you a printable copy?

When you fill that form online and hit continute, the form is submitted to the embassy. At least that's the way I understand it works. You should also print that form and include it in the packet to be sent to the embassy. Unfortunately, I don't know if completing that form before receiving packet 3 would be a problem. I hope sombody can help you with that doubt.In my case, I did it after receiving packet 3. That was the last form I completed and printed.

Sí, entre las vacunas estaba efectivamente la de la hepatitis B y el médico lo dejó asentado.Es una de las vacunas que necesitás. Si no la tenés tratá de regularizar la situación así no te hacen problemas

Got an e-mail today saying the embassy received the application from the NVC and with attached instructions in PDF form. Thanks to certain online friends ( ), we've already seen the instructions and so have a head start. Right now just waiting for the official birth certificate to come back from Bs.As. and to fill out the DS-156 form online, and I think we will be ready for the final steps!

I'm assuming based on what they say in the e-mail and attached instructions that there is no physical paper packet that they send out, it's all just here and now we can send in documents?

"The IV Unit in Buenos Aires received the I-129F petition that you filed for the K visa. Please find attached the instructions and information to apply for the visa. After we have received the requested copies, we will need to review the packet you sent to us and then we will be able to schedule the K visa interview appointment."

First of all CONGRATULATIONS!! There will be a paper packet that both of you will be receiving in a few weeks probably. Since you got the e-mail from the embassy, you can finish gathering the papers and then send them!!!You don't need to wait for the "physical paper packet".
