Did you read the article?

I don't care if UBL was killed in combat or executed.

I am using sarcasm to criticize the Obama-mama administration "Keystone cop" handling of the media stage of the event.

I believe the changing story and Obama-mama refusal to show evidence is prompting / fueling conspiracy theories and in turn, the UN request.

The dominoes will probably continue to fall. More scrutiny and more riducule from the anti-American world. That sucks!

Are you an Obama lover? You sound like one. You want Obama to handle the media well? You want him to be honest and never change his story? You want him to show evidence? Really? So did the "birthers" and what happened to them? You are criticizing someone you do not like for doing stupid things. #######?????

When your opponent acts like "keystone Cops"...let them.

Sure, and while you're at it why not tell Amnesty International and The Red Cross to piss off as well. You don't get to pick and choose when you will be part of the international community.

was ai and red cross asking for details too?

The United States of America has signed and ratified the Convenant on Civil and Political Rights and the Convention against Torture and other Cruel, Degrading and Inhumane Treatment or Punishment (which are actually pretty much the only international human rights treaties the US has ratified, out of about 30..)

Upon ratification, a country becomes legally accountable to ensure that their actions are in accordance with the provisions of these covenants. the United Nations is the monitoring institution - and therefore has every right to request for more information, and actually a responsibility to do so. This request has nothing to do with questioning Obama administration, it is a matter of UN Human Rights monitoring protocol, and the request would have been made no matter who was president, and no matter how this went down - unless Osama had actually walked out of that compound waiving a white flag, taken peacefully in custody, transported safe and sound to the US (or wherever) and detained in an institution that does not have a track record of water boarding and other forms of torture. Short of that scenario, I do not see how this could have happened without requests for more information, from several institutions and organizations, pertaining to the details of his death. I 100% agree that the media releases were not handled well, and that the suspicions of Americans are in many ways valid - however, for the most suspicious ones, it really does not matetr how much evidence the administration produces or what the possible UN investigation reveales. Short of someone diving into the Arabian sea to retrieve Osama's body, bringing it to NYC and hanging it up on a pole in the middle of Ground Zero, I don't see how the conspiracy theories would really ever be silenced.

Whether or not majority of Americans think that you need or should be a part of "the international community" and respect international human rights and protocol, the fact of the matter is that even this superpower can't no longer be a lone ranger.. At least in my opinion. But what do I know.

Wasn't Obama just saying the other day how we're going to work with the UN...... in Libya?

Why would it be any different in Pakistan?

That's an easy answer. The US does what's it deems best for the US, and not the UN. Like the US really cares about the the UN says or thinks ?

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."
