My co-worker whos' husband is unemployed was told that the Child Support Services can take a certain amount of money from her paycheck for her husband's over due child support(husband's child from ex wife).

Is this true?How can it be when it's not her child?it's her husband's?

Please i would appreciate ur help.

Possibly the person meant a joint checking account could be debited.

Sounds like an urban legend (told by someone who doesn't work for Child Support or Protective Services),

although I wouldn't put it past some of those geniuses.

I'm sure there are many dedicated good folks working for them, but we hear mostly about the screw-ups.
