Can't believe it's all over. Approved!! I'll write a complete review later in the embassy area. But a quick recap now...

For one, those who have afternoon appointments. They no longer allow anyone in early.a Arrived just before noon and was sent away to come back for 125 (20 mins before as noted in package). Walked downtown a bit and showed back up at 1. First in line, and then the guard let us in at 130. Up the elevator after security but 145. Waited maybe 5 mins to meet up at the first window stop, took passport, proof of paying fee and medical and took prints. Went back to waiting room, another 5 mins... Next window meeting were a nice lady went through the checklist where gave her birth certificate, police record, affidavit of support, letter of intent. She got me to sign copies of the forms I sent to them originally after packet 3. They never wanted additional photos( just took the ones from packet 3. Never asked for any copies of any of the forms we already sent them.

Then waited a little over 5 mins to get called for interview. It was also the nice blonde lady everyone talks about. She was a little under the weather, coughing up on all the papers but if I get a cold it's ok, she approved me. Lol

She only asked one question, how did you meet. Never asked for any proof of engagement or relationship. Easy as that. Don't worry at all, any of you! Oh and she takes your thumb prints.,, as easy as that. Don't know why I even stressed the slightest bit.

Good luck to everyone else this week!

Lol sorry for the ####### spelling on that last post. Blame my fingers and my iPad :)

I count in sleeps too. :) I can't start doing that though it would be too many.

I hate the fact that this whole process just makes me feel like a spoiled brat. :D

Hey!

We are desperately trying to get an interview... I have myself and my fiance on the case to get one... when there is finally one available what info do you need to book it? Just to I can make sure Ryan has all of the right numbers and such.... I may also get friends who work in offices to try to help us.. (I am a stylist and don't work by a computer )

Thanks

Nata

You don't need anything, all of your information should already be on the website and it will just tell you there is a date and you pick it on a calendar. When I called them two days ago they told me all appointments until the 29th of September were booked and they didn't know when Montreal was going to open October/November/December. Maybe they will open some afternoon appointments for us, that would be nice.

If Montreal keeps up the trend from the past few months....they should be opening up some additional dates for July or August soon..... We were told back in May that twice a month they open up additional dates for the next month (I'm guessing cancellations and what not).

Sending lots of *good positive please Montreal open up some sooner dates for people waiting to interview* vibes for you all!!!!! biggrin.gif
