Ukraine call center for k1 visa interview appointment

Hey all has anyone had success in scheduling a k1 visa interview last week or this week

Our packet was received by Kiev consulate on April 26 and they mailed packet to my fiancee i called call center and bought pin code last Thursday to schedule interview because we downloaded all forms off Internet us Kiev consulate website

First call - last Wednesday they asked for kev number and said nothing was in system

Second call - last Thursday they asked for kev number and said nothing was in system

Third call - last friday fiancee called and they said to try after 4th because of holidays

4th call - yesterday morning Kyiv time - they asked for kev number and nothing was still in system to call next week

5th call - today they did not ask for kev number and said to try next week as they had no iq information then followed up with all k1 interview spots were full - seem to be the same person working the last 2 calls

Seems to be a fishy call center with potentially useless staff just paid to burn through pin code minutes

Anyone else experience the Ukraine call center this week ( both the 888 number for USA And the Kiev local number)

it can take up to a couple weeks for the case file to get into the appointment system after it reaches the consulate

That's possible of course. when we did our interview it was 2 months + for first available interview. In 2009 it was less than 3 days. If May is booked, sometimes it is a few days until they "open" the June dates.

There are only two people at the call center, used to be Victoria and Vitaly. They are not paid to burn up minutes. You are calling too much. If you call too much, YOU will burn up the minutes. If they say to wait until next week, I would take their advice and save on minutes calling
