I live here a few years ago. I had agreement with my landlord and she never gave me any lease. After I get married, my husband moved in, and I also did not get the lease. Now I know that I need to get the lease. I asked the landlord to get me a lease, but I only asked for this year. I realized that I need another one for last year. My landlord said that she was lazy and asked me to just change the date. I did it but now it looks strange since the signatures look exactly the same for the leases of the two years. I need to send the documents asap and I don't see my landlord that often. Can I just send these two leases with same signatures? Thank you so much for your help.

You are exactly right! Thank you sooooo much!!!

Why not send one lease with both of your names on it and you can state that your husband was added to the lease after you were married? Then you won't be altering documents by changing the date. You won't need two separate leases.
