I applied for Adjustment of Status a few months ago and Advance Parole and EAD were approved a month ago! Everything sounded pretty good... about a week later I received my EAD card! But now it's been 30 days and I haven't received the Advance Parole yet...

After taking several Infopass appointments, filing multiple service requests and calling USCIS a dozen times, nobody from USCIS is able to tell me where my Advance Parole is...

Before that I never had any issues with USCIS mails and I haven't moved since I applied for AOS so it seems pretty weird that I haven't received it yet.

I was told by an Immigration Officer that if the Advance Parole is not returned to USCIS within 30 days, it's considered lost.. As the Advance Parole was already approved, I thought USCIS would be able to print another copy but guess what they're telling me that I should apply again!

It's scandalous that USCIS ask applicants to apply again, pay again and wait until they review something that was already approved!

It's also ridiculous that with the high cost of fees, USCIS send important documents in regular mail if it isn't reliable. How much does a priority or trackable mail cost? Apparently immigrants aren't worth it...

After doing some research I found out that some applicants who had their AP approved and never received it got in touch with the USCIS Ombudsman (can help solving all kind of issues with USCIS). After investigating their cases, the Ombudsman found out that sometimes USCIS didn't produced and mailed the AP document because they lost the pictures!

I submitted my case to the Ombudsman and to my congressman hoping they can figure out and solve this Advance Parole problem! I'm soooo tired of dealing with USCIS and their incompetent people...

Unfortunately it's not a combo card, it says "Not Valid for reentry to US"

At first I thought they did a mistake and should have sent me a combo card but my case was received by USCIS on February 7th and they started making combo cards for applications received after february 11th.

Why are you paying when the AP is free when filed with AOS? Just resend it without a fee and with the NOA1 in order to waive the fee... no biggie.

My husband's took a long time to get here after it was approved. They, for some reason, determined our address didn't exist (even though we received everything else) so it floated around the post office for about a month, THEN got returned to USCIS, THEN USCIS asked us for our address again, and finally they resent it.

Thanks to all of you for your messages. I got some pretty good news this morning. I got a phone call from the congressman assistant, telling me that USCIS finally got back to her and explained her that my AP hadn't been produced... They didn't give more explanations but told her it was now produced and mailed to me on May4.

I'm very happy to finally make some progress, she also told me that they mailed me an interview notice for June 7 so I'm almost done with the AOS!
