I just want to commend you for at least asking these questions first. At the end of the day, no birth control is 100% and so it makes sense find out what is out there in the event that your wife falls pregnant.

03/26/2012 (Day 376) Emails confirming that my I-130 and I-485 have been approved.

4/2/2012 Green Card In Hand!

Unbelievable that my journey took this long but Im thankful

Next Stop Premed...Yup!

3/24/2014 Application for conditions to be removed

9/22/2014 APPROVED without interview.

Thanks everybody for responding, I'm not rushing I'm 38 years old and I just wanna have a baby . I don't know how to explain it but if I wait I need to wait two years 1 year for my wife to be eligible for insurance. Plus one year for the insurance to cover maternity, I'll be then 40 . ????

What about WIC (Women, Infants, and Children)?

WIC guidelines

wIC is a nutrition program for pregnant women and children under 5.

It will not pay for medical.

good topic , i need to know as well

why dont you try to have a medicaid ?

is no wrong to be 40 ! at least it will give you and your wife enough time together , having kids is not that simple and easy , both of you have to be prepared for it , she left her country and family couple of months ago , she has 100% different life now , if you cant change the law , at least enjoy your time while you are waiting .

If he's making 32k a year (as stated earlier in the topic), they probably wouldn't qualify for Medicaid.

Married since 03/02/2011, AOS from F-1 visa, green card granted 05/24/2011.
Blessed with a healthy baby boy, 08/19/2011! We get to keep our family together! Thank you! smile.png
