Police certificate dilema

I am a USC petitioning my mom. I filed I 130 on July 9,2010. Her application is already on NVC. When I sent the IV packet they found something missing. It's a police certificate from Israel. My mom worked in Israel for almost 8 years, over stayed her visa and came home in 2005. When I receive the RFE, I sent my mom to the Israeli embassy in Manila to get the certificate. According to them it will take a month before they can send a certificate to the NVC if they can since she was a TNT for 3 years. I am starting to be concerned of how it will affect her visa application. Not to mention the time that we have to wait for that certificate. Anybody has an input of what we can do or anyone who has the same experience? I am actually starting to regret putting that information in my mom's application. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance..

You have a year(from the date they received your file) to get documents to NVC before they will close your file. I am not sure if you can do anything other that wait.
