I know it's a big shocker... but I'm with Paul on this one.

It's not about whether UBL is dead or not, it's about the so-called "transparency" of this administration. When they kicked it off with "we will be honest and upfront, moreso than any previous administration" and then repeatedly did things like what they've done this past weekend, you're obligated to question, at minimum, the motive behind why they'd present the "facts" they way they have.

Paul's not knocking America or the raid or saying bin Laden shouldn't be dead. He's saying, "Why are you sheeple eating all the bull you're being spoon-fed." The kicker is many of you would be the first ones to deny it had it come from the previous administration. And that's what's all the more frustrating. Not only are you buying all the bullsh!t, but you're hypocritical while doing it!

I agree with you as to how the SEAL's operation went down - I don't think it's that surprising that the current WH incumbent is not revealing everything about the circumstances of it and I wouldn't have expected it either. If I don't expect the admin to do it, why should I be surprised or critical when they don't?

As to whether or not anyone really believed the Obama assertions about 'open and honest' government. Maybe they did, but I am on record on this very web site as stating that it was election bunkum. Meaningless. Obama never offered a coherent plan for his new and improved 'open and honest' government, so I did not place any credence on it whatsoever. In fact, they were evidence to me that Obama is definitely not the librul that you and others paint him to be.

More than that, the biggest criticisms I had with the Bush admin were the lies they told to justify their actions, in Iraq, against Bin Laden and by extension Al Qaeda and in Afghanistan. I don't think the current administration has done that, in fact with the Libya thing, they made sure they did not go it alone and that it was an action approved by the UN. I think there are differences, but how material they are, well, no one here is really that interested in a proper discussion on that.

I'm not saying Bush is great, Obama is a liberal or anything even remotely close to that. What I'm attempting to do is support Paul's position of regardless which facts are presented, it's whom is presenting them that's making all the difference.

Had this raid been carried out by the Bush administration, it would've been "Secret stealth helicopters used to infiltrate a sovereign nation and a team of assassins being deployed to a private residence to murder non-combatants." Instead, what we end up with is, "Obama has the balls to get the job done." HUGE difference in perception there, wouldn't you agree?
