Magical -

You are not being supportive here. Per everyone's post, you are not forced to read something you don't want to. You are not extending folks the courtesy that perhaps was extended to you.

What you need to understand is that everyone's case is important to them.

Please chill out!

So I guess you are under the assumption that the OP has not kept track of this website? Why? Because she is frustrated? A lot of us realize that there is no rhyme or reason to this process but that fact does not stop a person for feeling what they are feeling. Yes we celebrate (at least I do) with those who are getting through this process quicker then expected and support those who have had a rough time with this crazy system (the person you referred to who just received a NOA2 after waiting an entire year) but to tell someone to stop obsessing over what is paining her is unfair and judgmental. Perhaps you have it all together, if that is the case good for you, God bless you. But please if the OP is not hurting anyone or has she insulted anyone with her post therefore leave her alone. If you don't like the fact that she is frustrated don't read her post.

The OP is going to need a lot thicker skin if someone on here simply tells them to relax. Loads of people on this website obsess which in turn gets other people all worked up. I'm stating the fact of the matter. This person won't relax because it's not their nature. I will however say it's going to do nothing but make the process seem longer than it already is. I'm not disregarding her/his feelings but at the end of the day the statement I made is a true statement.

Well, looks like we stepped on some toes. jk says it well...thin skinned folks have a hard time with it here, because it is inherently hard what we are all going thru. But life isn't always easy and we all deal with it in different ways. I have never wished ill on a single person in my entire life, nor will I, and I sincerely hope that cristina and miguel have an easy case, but there is just NOTHING any of us can do in the early stages except to wait, and when someone posts the same thing over and over and over, and gets the same responses, one has to wonder. I'm certainly not suggesting that anyone on this site is crazy, but a quote from Einstein comes to mind:

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Albert Einstein, (attributed)

US (German-born) physicist (1879 - 1955)

Repeated posts with the same info and the same responses kinda fall under this definition--not about being insane, of course, but somehow not understanding or accepting what is going on as we all wait for our outcomes.

i am sincerely sorry that anyone took offense at my posts or jk's or countless others over the 18 months or so I have been here when all we are saying is you can't do much, relax, and get all your ducks in a row for the next phase when you CAN accelerate the process.

Best wishes to cristina, miguel, and every single person who is going thru what we are all going thru.

I would have died and gone to heaven to have qualified for DCF--it is one of the hidden benefits of living in a foreign country with your spouse--but in my case it wasn't long enough, so we are going the "normal" process

Hang in there Cristina. I am sure you will hear something soon! Keep your head up and ignore the ridiculous first comment! Luckily most of the comments on VJ are encouraging. This forum is really a life saver for most of us that are here. My wife and I were in the dark about a lot of things before we found this forum. We thank all the members that take the time to inform, encourage, and contribute with tons of useful information.

Likewise. I did not have enough time.

My wedding was a semi-arranged process so in terms of finding Kinnari and what not took longer than we expected.

Anywho. I was smack dab in the middle of MSN (Master of Nursing) Program and I had to practically beg the Dean to give me a quarter/semester off to be able to take a 11 week leave and not dismiss me from the program. It would have been different if it was a life threatening type emergency. And trust me, there is not faking something here for an extension... the school sent someone on the school's dime to check and validate the student that took leave like this last time and busted them for lying. Yeah, I know HARDCORE!

DCF requires 3 months in India. So It was not possible for me to file that way. We considered it, but I would have been dismissed from the program...and getting into a good nursing program these days is just as tough as immigrating to the USA without a spouse/fiance visa.

Gotta take the snail way.... :(

Good Luck on everyones immigration process!

According to time lines up above CSC is working on Dec 11--why waste everybody's time telling us every few days that you are frustrated ??

You dont have to be so gosh dang RUDE! Every one here has gone through the same thing or is going through the same thing! Of corse anyones going to get frustrated when they are patiently waiting for their applications to be approved! Every day that goes by is a day away from your other half! WHO THE HECK WOULDNT BE FRUSTRATED!

Hi Steph

If you want to see real pain well beyond any frustration, take a look at http://immigrate2us.net/forum/forum.php

These people have all sorts of immigration problems that often separate families for years--not months--years at a time. And yes they hurt, but you almost never see them whine. Maybe it's because I have worked with illegal immigrants for several years that I sometimes think that folks here have it pretty easy, but in every case I wish the best for everyone.

And cristina--WAHOOOO
