If put today's date on the least in place of the original one and delete the "one passport out of three" line, that would be just fine. Thanks! :thumbs:

I filled out the passport application online then printed it. The printed copy contained a barcode. I am hoping that the barcode will speed up the processing since scanning it will take care of populating all the information on the form into their system...

Most probably I will drop off the application on Monday.

Also - thanks all for pointing out that passport apps are not accepted on Saturday and that the hours are different than the USPS location hours... saved me some disappointment/headache headbonk.gif

Yeahh!!! You'll be fine! :)

In my case the first time I went to an USPS office on a Saturday and they only process application passports under appointment!!! grrrr :angry: , so I set an appointment for a Tuesday (because they don't do passport applications on Monday!) Once in the office on Tuesday I spent less than 5 minutes there!!! B-)

We've received our passports on 11/10 but still no CON and birth certificate.

Should I be worried already? Start calling them?

Anyone who can give me any advice please. I received my Certificate of Naturalization from the mail completely mutilated (2 hours ago). My husband and I rushed to the post office to complain but the lady in-charge of passport wasn't there. And. also I am not sure if the passport book is in the same package. Is is possible that my passport book is there also or they sent it in a different packet? I need any advice that you can give. I applied for passport card and I received it yesterday. For the replacement of the CON it will cost me $345 and another hassle. This is the best birthday gift that I ever received, I can't helped it I really cried in the post office. With all the waiting and frustrations with the process, this is what I'm getting. Please I need your sensible advice on this matter. Thank you very much in advance to anyone who can give me any input...

Passport book is usually sent in a different package. Not sure if the state department provides insurance for this package.

Passport book comes separately. Sorry about your CON. It's mailed First Class, so there's no insurance on it, I'm afraid. You should probably find your mail person and ask them if they got it damaged or it happened en route from the PO to your home. I don't think the passport lady at the PO will know anything.
