Hi Sheila526! Can I ask you a question? What does the locator number do? Can you add me to the list. I applied last Oct. 31 for my passport and card. Thanks in advance for the reply. I saw that you came from the Philippines also.

I'm not Sheila, but I'll tell you :yes: You need the locator number to be able to locate your application if you call the Department of state with any questions regarding your application.

Every time I try to add something to the list I mess up, so maybe someone else can do it :lol:

Just curious, since I'll be doing this soon. For those of you who got expedited processing with the overnight delivery of your passport, which method is DOS using for sending you the passport, USPS, UPS or FEDEX?

ksdfg - you just didn't use the current list so mine wasn't updated Updating the list...

Question: Do we need to list the mailing date and the date when the check was cashed?

Did you use the Routine Service or Expedited? Where did you apply? (City, State)

So I got my CON today but still no updates about my son's passport. For those who applied with a minor, did you get your CON first before their passport? Is this a normal procedure?

I use the regular procedure. I mailed it last Oct. 31 here in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. What I saw in the website is just the locator number. I applied for the book and the card.
