Hi Guys,

Finally, It has come through. I got e-mail this afternoon from USCIS saying that it was approved on 03MAY and the receipt was mailed the same day. I woke up my "love" middle of the night and told her the good news.

I still need help !! What is next step, can any one tell me please!!!!

I received NOA1 for K1 on 04NOV and approved today!!!!

Please guide me what is next?????

More waiting. USCIS will send your petition to NVC (takes 2-4 weeks) and then forward it to your fiance/e's consulate. You can start calling NVC anytime, but usually takes at least a week (if you're lucky) to be received. We're more than 3 weeks into waiting and were told today we need to scan a copy of NOA2 and email it to them to be researched. Annoying, but just another bump along the road - hope it doesn't happen to you.

Their number is (603) 334-0700 - option 1, option 5 to speak directly to a rep. Good luck to you guys!

May 28, 2011 - Got case number after 2 weeks of waiting

May 30-31, 2011 - 2-day Medical at SLMEC (without the NVC letter, just the MCN)

July 01, 2011 - Interview (APPROVED despite delayed documents!)

July 14, 2011 - Picked up visa from 2Go Main

July 15, 2011 - Bought one-way ticket for first time immigrant (rate)
