Hi,

Just read the I-751 and the instructions for completing it, there is a section for applying when divorced and it mentions abuse, so read carefully and then post any other questions. I hope this helps a little and i am sure that others will reply, sorry that your relationship ended as it did.

You can apply for waiver on the basis of both (d) and (e) of I-751 Part 2. As with any immigration application, paper evidence is necessary.

In your case, collect evidence such as:

(1) joint bank statements, credit card statements, rental lease, utility bills, etc since you got your conditional GC and before you got seperated.

(2) Divorce decree

(3) Police reports, battery charges, court appearances, etc.
