I was more nervous about the state the house would be in and how much cleaning I'd have to do

First meeting was very nervous - 9 hrs of sheer panic, got to Philly airport and decided I was this far, not much I could do about it. Arrived at Pittsburgh very relaxed until I saw how nervous he was, then panic set in again!

10 year Green Card received, Next step is citizenship urgh!

I was TOTALLY nervous about a month ago...I was expecting another 4-5 month wait since seeing my husband in July since we thought we would go for the CR-1 since it was approved before the K-3....then all of the sudden the K-3 came through and landed at the US embassy soooo quickly.... I had totally planned out this 4 month plan of saving more money, getting an apartment ready, etc. when all of the sudden i realized my husband could arrive in less than a month...

i was scared for sure, i felt a lot of pressure...all i want is for him to be happy and love it here, i want the very things i can't control, so that is where the fear comes from. Luckily with 9 months of this long-distance thing, we have broken up the time by seeing each other every 3 months (and with this final visit June-July a nearly 2-month stay), so we won't have much trouble feeling awkward to get re-aquainted...anyhow i am expecting my husband next week and i don't feel nearly as nervous as i did a month ago when everything just started happening...he is slightly nervous, but more excited...he's mostly nervous about his interview

We lived together 6 months before we got married, too...then I left to the US to finish school...it will be different when we are paying bills and not in tropical la-la land...but with enough love, things will stand strong. Remember to breathe and give yourself a pat on the back for going through all this stress--remember that you've gone through more stress in the last year with this visa stuff than most couples go through, so take some pride in that :)

I think it is a normal feeling. I felt anxious until he actually appeared in the hall just beyond security at the airport, then I was fine and forgot everything I had been worried about.

I was extremely nervous. After a year and some months of not seeing my husband, i was indeed nervous. Especially at the airport when i saw him coming down the glass hall from the tram bringing him from his plane. While running to him, going through my mind wasnt "oh yaaaaaaay hes here" instead it was "i hope my shaking dont cause me to fall right infront of him while running" Thankfully I made it without falling, well until we made it out to the parking lot anyway :)

I'm a little nervous. The longest amount of time we've spent together is 5 days in one stretch. But we're very good at communication and can always talk through any differences. We're very open and it's made this whole process 10,000 times easier.

Truthfully, I think I'm the MOST nervous about him not being able to work. More nervous about money and me bringing home all the bacon to support him. We'll be eating ramen for a few meals a week, that's for sure. :)

I love my husband and have anxiously awaited his getting his visa so that we could be together again. We lived together for six months and it was wonderful. But now, after being apart for so long, and with our expecting him to have his visa this month, I am scared to death! The emotional, illogical side of me worries about whether this will work out. If I calm down and think rationally, there is no reason to think that it won't - but I still worry! Did anyone else get nervous when it came close to having your fiance/spouse with you again? I feel like such a heel for feeling this way. I know I love him and that we've always been very happy together. I don't understand why I feel this way.

Normal. Relax now....

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
