Hello,

can someone let me know if getting a PCC(Police clearance certificate) from Hyderabad Passport office is enough to submit to NVC. Passport was issued 6 month ago. Do you also need to get PCC from local police stations? and is it for the current address or all the addresses stayed since turning 16? for example if you resided in 5 different cities in the same state do you need additional 5 police certificates from these cities local police stations? Here is the link to their website

OR

will the PCC from the passport office from Hyderabad will be enough to submit to NVC?

Our experience in the Mumbai consulate was that only the police clearance from the passport office was required, they didn't require the police clearances from local police stations at all.

thank you for the information.

even i thought the same but saw mixed responses here so wanted to make sure but what did you send to the NVC?
