This month, it mark third-anniversary of my marriage with my current US citizen wife and also it is time to file the I-751. Not decide to go to divorce yet, but partially we have been separated. There is a small chance we could go back to each other. It was her who initiated the separation several months ago because she suddenly told me she was not satisfied with the sex life which I do have to take some responsibilities for my health problem after more than 2 years’ being together, just like other normal couples. While she is nice enough to promise to corporative on I-751 issue, the trust has been damaged partially along with the financial record.

Even we have confidence that we will get approved on this matter in the end and lately try to fix some problem and keep our records (like address) as consistent as possible, we are not in great situation to handle this matter. It really makes me nervous these days. Anybody experienced with that? Any suggestion or anything I need to pay attention before we file the I-751 jointly?

I’d appreciate your time so much and your help, advice is precious. God bless nice citizens.

kurtwei,

Have a consultation with an immigration attorney to sort through the details of the situation and get some options and advice based on those details.

Yodrak, thanks for the help.

In fact, after reading many post from this forum, I may find the things I should do and the things I should avoid. At least we are still great friends and there are some good options we can have.
