Frustration at NVC

I overnighted my NVC packages both of them on april 18th and they arrived April 19th and were signed for by NVC. Now...on April 28th we got RFE..(false RFE) for our AOS package...I spoke with an operator on April 29th and they said no worries it's prob in mail room. Ok great...so i checked the AVR that night and it was updated saying "THANK YOU FOR RESPONDING TO THE CHECKLIST ON APRIL 29TH" something about receiving the needed checklist etc....

on Monday I received an email with another RFE for the AOS package....so i called again...they said they dont have it blah blah...wait for a few days etc...ok ...then today I get yet anotherrrr email fore the same thing so i called again today asking waht is going on because i overnighted have confirmation of signature etc....in the mean time my husbands country has gotten worse daily since February so we decided to at least try expedite...so while i was on phone i got info about expedite...

so can anybody tell me why they arent getting the aos package? is ti loaded in their system just not looked at yet? our DS230 was approved and all is good no RFE indicated and they are ready to forward that to embassy when they get the aos package...but WHERE is my AOS?? i asked if i needed to resend and they said no....just wondered if anybody else has experienced this...she did say if the expedite is aproved they will forward the pkg to the embassy even if they havent reviewed it...but still

Hi Eabbaz,

It maybe because they entered the applicant support documents before the AOS, that generates an RFE automaticaly.

Call the DOS visa specialist they have direct access to your file :

05-04-2011 RFE stupid one, although Hubby has an approved extension for income tax return filling, NVC does not care at all, they absolutely wanted, but there's no power in Madison, no way for him to even see the attached forms on the NVC email

There was an email with a checklist every day as well as an AVR saying missing financial documents..and i kept calling to figue out everything but they couldnt tell me anything then i tried calling again and thats when i found out they completed everything and we're just waiting on interview

Thanks! I did call yesterday and found out that not only my AOS was reviewed but reviewed and final review done, Case complete and interview waiting to be scheduled! From not knowing anything to being complete WOWWW!!!

If the question is for me, no got no luck with the RFE, it's regarding the tax return, hubby got an extension for filling the 2010, but NVC requires it. And the problem is that he is in Madison, Alabama, no power due tothe severe tornado storms of last week, so we don't know when we can get the docs shipped to NVC

Yeah it's been really bad in the south..I live in NC and we saw a lot of severe weather but fortunately power is on and didnt get anything like they had...

Could he travel to another place to ship the documents to NVC? It would be worth the drive an hour away if he could....good luck with that...and soon after you should get your case complete!
