K-1 Passport Question

Some of my primary evidence of having met includes passport stamps. Should I copy my whole passport, or just the biographical information and the relevant pages? It seems a waste to send 12 pages of copies when only two of them will have stamps.

I am using my birth certificate to certify citizenship, so I have no other reason to copy the entire passport.

Suggestions?

All pages.

You'll notice some RFEs in the RFE thread (pinned to the top of the forum) asking for all pages of the passport.

On my lawyers instructions, I sent my BC and copies of passport bio and stamped pages. I don't know if it's right, but I haven't gotten an RFE yet. I think some people are getting away with that while others are getting an RFE to send ALL passport pages.

I second that. Better to be safe than sorry.

Yes, I saw that RFE, but note that it says all 'relevant' pages including stamps. Of course I intend to copy the two relevant pages; it's the other 26 I'm not sure about. Bleh, it's not a big deal to copy the other blank pages, it's just that the size of this petition is getting rather unwieldy.

The poster also says "I received an RFE for all pages of my passport." So I guess if it's not too much trouble to have all pages photocopied, why risk it?

Actually, I'm thinking I might copy the whole thing as once the Edmonton customs agent didn't stamp my passport, so they'd probably think I lost a page as I have a return stamp but no entry stamp. I'm not sure why Canada doesn't always stamp my passport, but they seem not to care too much.

My petition was massive. It wouldn't even fit into any of the USPS envelopes, I had to get a box for it! The original ACCO fastners I bought were too small, so I had to go get a larger size! Yowzers!

Stamps!?

There is no way I'd let that hard work of mine go through regular First Class mail.

Priority Mail + better is what I recommend for mailing. Makes you sleep better at night.

People recommend mailing them in a way that you request a signature and get a receipt notice. So you know for sure they've gotten it.
