How is the school district going to pay back the bonds and interest? Taxes, that's how.

Actually the city had election and voted on whether to pay for a new stadium with bonds. They voted yes.

I know it was paid by bonds but where does the money to pay the bondholders come from? From taxes collected by the school district or city.

And/or revenue from the stadium itself. 18000 seat and 20% of the concessions. And then there is the rental fees, advertising, etc.

That is a good point but I seriously doubt that the $119 million bonds were issued with the idea that they would be paid off by revenues from the stadium. If such expensive football stadiums were such money makers there were be a whole lot more of these stadiums being built.

Well not this big but we do spend money on good size high stadiums. We should start seeing other towns doing the same as the new revenue coming in. These games are big time. Usually every restraunt around or such is packed full. Our local baseball field is larger than the semi pro teams nearby. These stadiums bring in a lot of money. The stadium was around 60 mllion of that 119 million bond.
