There are two lines - one for "US citizen/Permanent Residents" and another for "other visa". My wife is coming to United States. Which line she should be on? I would appreciate for your input. thanks in advance

Other Visa I would assume as this is her first time for Port of Entry.

If you are a US Citizen, she can come with you since she is your wife.. If she is traveling by herself legal resident, or in a K1, CR type of visa, she can use the Permanent Resident Line..

SFO has a separate line for new PRs. Even if you are accompanied by a USC, you will be asked to go to the line (that's happened to the couple who stood in line behind me.) Of course, USC can choose to go claim bags and wait outside if desired.
