Waiting for passport uk filers! Bloody bank holidays

Hello fellow uk vjers

Did anyone else have their interview around the 20th April and has still not received their passport back?

These bloody bank holidays have delayed the delivery and as I tried to track it online with the courier company it says they have not received itnfrom the embassy as of yet!

I'm slightly worried that since approving it, they may have changed their minds! And not sending it out after all?

This is the only time I'm not grateful for bank holidays!

10/10/2010-------NOA1 and sent to California Service Center for processing

10/19/2010-------Check Cashed

10/21/2010-------NOA1 Hardcopy received

11/26/2010-------Touched

02/17/2011-------NOA2 email received from USCIS confirming approval

02/28/2011-------NVC Received

03/15/2011-------Left NVC forwarded to US consulate in UK after 15 days of AP

03/21/2011-------US Consulate receive paper work and logged

03/22/2011-------Packet 3 sent by US consulate

03/24/2011-------Packet 3 received from US Consulate

03/24/2011-------Packet 3 returned to Consulate

04/01/2011-------Packet 3 logged by Consulate

I can't help you on the receiving passport question. But maybe you could answer a question for me... My husband is also in the UK and we are trying to plan for the medical. Did you have to get any vaccinations, if so which were actually necessary? The State Department lists a ton of them, but I have a feeling they all aren't actually necessary. Thanks and sorry for the hijack

That's in 2 days time? Did u check if it has been received by the courier company? I take it it's the same company the dx couriers

Yeah we've checked the courier loads as you can imagine, my fiance needs to be here by friday, he was hoping to get it in hand thurs and book his flight for friday, so he asked the lady over and over if she was sure by thursday, she said yes by thursday and that is considering the bank holidays.

But it is not even with the courier yet. How long is it with the courier before its delivered do you know?

Both of you have got me so worried that my high hopes for having him this week are over.

You should consider calling the courier service. My fiance called today and the recording said you should speak to the operator if you havent recieved it within 5 days. working days id imagine.

Well put it this way, my interview was on the 20th and I have still not received it at it takes 8-10 working days not including bank holidays, so if you take them out that's about 7 days lost already!

I phoned dos today and they said it's approved but not yet been sent out. I would say you would be very very lucky if you got yours this week. However all it takes is for them to stick it in the passport and send it out with the brown envelope.

Let's hope they move quick

Gareth's visa is in the system set to deliver monday morning. If you need to get over to the states I recommend dropping the embassy an email!
