Hello everyone! were now in the process for our dna for my daughters US passport/citizenship and my husband already done his part. The dna lab already sent a dna kit for my daughter and arrived here in manila last april 21,2011 and until now its still at custom..I called fed ex and custom and theyre telling me it needs some tax exemption letter and advice from the embassy before they deliver it and they said already sent a copy stating the dna has already arrived last April 25.I called the number that was given to me for questions regarding my daughters US passport and explained them that the dna is already in manila and told them what the fed ex and custom said but examiner #2 said its not needed anymore so I called fed ex again and theyre telling me same thing theyre waiting for us embassy to notify them before they deliver it..the dna kit is sitting there at custom for 12 days now and they wont take action until that tax exemption certificate is given to them..Im so frustrated already Ive been calling fed ex and us embassy almost everyday and us embassy wont have to do but wait for them to deliver and fed ex will wait for go signal from us embassy before they deliver it..Ive been stressing a lot about this already and I hope someone can share if they have experience same as mine regarding this and hope you could advice me on what steps I can do..it will be a great help
