Hello,

About a couple of weeks ago, my I-130 petition for my spouse was accepted. I have paid my AOS fee and am about to start my I-164. I very recently found out that my work has assigned me to a 6-month overseas posting in Britain where my wife is from. I will move in about two or three months to Britain to start the posting. I plan to file the I-164 with my current US address and then file an I-865 after I move. Will my temporary move to England hurt my wife's application?

On the I-865, can I put my English address as my home and mailing address? If so, the instructions on the I-865 do not make it clear which office to send the form to. They only refer to US states and territories. Which USCIS office should I send it to? Will the change in address filing slow my spouse's visa application?

I can receive mail at my parents' address, (a PO Box because they live in a small town). Should I put that as my mailing address when I file the I-865? I do not want to put my parents' street address as my Home address on the I-865 because that would not be true, but I could do that too.

Thanks,

Moofie37
