Ahhh... I understand... that's crazy... I do not know why they can't do the interview and the oath ceremony on the same day just like in Las Vegas?! Because once you pass your interview the oath taking is just formality (as harsh as it sounds and not trying to "lower" the importance of the oath taking). So they really should not sit on it for ages... That really would drive me crazy!

TELL ME ABOUT IT! I don't really know what's going on, but I am definitely cally after 45 days and hadn't heard anything. :unsure:

This may be a good sign. If you received a yellow letter then you may not be required a biometrics. When was the last time you took yours? They are usually valid within 12 months.

Still no rescheduled biometrics appointment for me, after nearly 2 months wait!

Yesterday I received in the mail a yellow letter reminding me to bring some extra documents to the interview, but no interview date yet.

I was hoping the yellow letter was a good sign. The last time I had my biometrics taken was (I think) just over a year ago when I renewed my Green Card. Pretty sure it was over a year ago.

I am happy for you, sis. I wish our office is like yours who can assign an Oath after passing the interview. I wouldn't mind if it would be next year as long as I got the dates. You're almost done! YAY!

Some say that Biometrics is valid for 18 months... that must be why you're skipping it on this stage?

I'm not sure if I am skipping it yet! I got a biometrics appointment letter at the end of May, and the letter arrived AFTER the appointment date. I wrote to the ASC and asked for a rescheduled appointment, but I've heard nothing from them til I got the yellow letter yesterday.
