I just want to update everyone. My interview went so well. No questions asked about our marriage neither on my entry or even any personal questions.

USCIS officer was so respectful and professional. We went with a lawyer and things went so good. Thank God! I will just wait for my greencard to arrive in few weeks. God is awesome and God is great!

I just want to thank everyone for all your help. My application was approved yesterday.

It wasnt really so exhausting like what I though it would be. The officer never asked anything about our marriage neither any question how we met or so. But he constantly look to us with his keen eyes.

My husband was more nervous than I was and what was funny is that he cracked some jokes during our interview with our lawyer.

I prayed to God to make my interview painless and questions will be minimal. And He did it! praise Him!

Good luck to everyone.

This is just my opinion...I think it's wrong for people to try to game the system. You were planning on getting married and then you he suddenly popped the question and you got married. I wish the USCIS would stop people from adjusting when they come to the USA on a tourist visa with the intention to get married. And then you want people's advice on how to make sure you get to stay. Something is wrong with this picture.

But they weren't trying to game the system. AOS is a valid and legal option to become a permanent resident when used properly, which the OP did. I know a lot of people don't like it and get upset that other people got to adjust with their spouse in the country while they had to wait on a visa, but USCIS allows it and it isn't "gaming the system." OP came here not planning to get married, her husband surprised her with a proposal, they got married and adjusted. I don't see anywhere that says she (or anyone else) came here with intention to get married, and I've never seen anyone on the board encourage someone to come here with intent and adjust.

OP, congratulations on your approval! I'm glad the interview went so well.
