I feel like I'm losing my mind :(

I have been doing long distance with my Fiance for two years. I just got back from a ten day visit with him last week, and as usual the post visit blues have struck. But this time it's different, all I can do still, is cry.

I just went to do some shopping and the self serve machine kept declining my card despite me having plenty in my account, I just abandoned my shopping and walked out sobbing. I'm usually such a happy upbeat person but this situation is killing me.

I had such bad depression over it last year I had to be put on medication, I can't be with anyone else. I love my Fiance so much, we have four children between us who love each other like brothers, on the last visit I went alone and bonded so much with his Sons I feel like they are my own, everytime I think of their little faces I break down.

Its been 4 months since our NOA1, I should be feeling like the light is at the end of the tunnel but I'm just becoming more distraught, I feel desperately home sick!

I tried throwing myself in to my life here, spending time with friends and trying to have fun, it worked for a while, but now nothing is helping, as you know we cant make any plans, here or for our lives together there. I just dont know what to do with myself.

I had hoped to visit again late May but our Noa2 is due around that time, now everyone is saying they are taking 6-7 months to come, I dont want to book the flights and find that it comes and I lose all that money.

I have been picking fights with my Fiance terrified he will meet someone else, even though he is the most devoted man I could wish for and never gives me any reason to dis-trust him. Then I am back in a spiral of depression and self hate.

This isn't my home anymore, my family, friends, home and life are 4000 miles away and I actually think I'm having a break down.

It's easier to be away from someone you are angry with thats why people who are leaving one another for a long period of time often fight. The LDR is not an easy thing. Hang in there.

Please dont feel depressed nor discouraged. We all have went through the same thing that you have and we all know how it feels when you walk into that gate and when you leave the one you love behind. We went though it three times and every time it hurt just the same, maybe even more because the bound is bigger and stronger as time goes by. But dont loose your hope now, you have put so much into this relationship and you have only a month or so to go, so cheer up, and lift up your head because sun does shine above those clouds. Focus on the things that will help you cheer up. The documents you need to get ready, or start thinking about your wedding ....anything but dont loose hope

Things will be ok :-) you will see

I know it's an awful thing to go through but you just have to try and remember it won't be forever. You can fly when you have your noa2 though. I got mine about a week ago and I'm in the states with my hubby at the moment. I had no problems at poe. Just try and stay positive. I know it sucks really bad and it's super lonely and it's kinda cruel making people wait this long but it won't be too long now.

Thank you everyone (F)

It's more than a year now that me and husband didn't see each other in person only in video chat everyday....Hope God miraculously touch the heart of USCIS people and guide their hands to pick our docs and approve it sooner...less than 3 months is my goal...hehe...I claimed in Jesus name...

Hey girl!!

My heart really goes out to you. Things can get so hard and so tough and the distance can be so testing. But the day is upon you quite literally any day now. It could be today, it could be tomorrow, it could be 1 month from now. But it's any day! There's so much to prepare for, so much to get ready for. Your life as you know it, is about to change for the rest of your life. This is all you can think about now, but in just a few short months you will be with the one you love and away from everything as you know it today.

There is so much to be thankful for, and I can promise you...from my heart to yours...this too shall pass. We're all in this together. Hang in there. You are so so SO close. And be thankful for the devoted man. I know I am so very thankful for mine.

xoxo

This may seem a strange reply, but when you are going through lots of emotional stuff, please take care of yourself physically. Cut down on sugar, and make sure you are taking vitamin supplements, take bubble baths, etc. VITAMINS are absolutely necessary to processing emotions, and you have a lot right now, understandably. Hugs & prayers.
