A couple of Questions

I have a couple of questions about the whole K-1 process and time line.

First, I sent in my I-129F on November 22, 2010 but did not recieve my NOA1 until December 17th. Should I be using the receipt time or the NOA1 time to estimate when I should have NOA2? I know this web site uses NOA1, but receipt time and NOA1 are usually within a couple days of each other. And I did overnight the I-129F on November 22nd and it arrived November 23rd. I have no idea why NOA1 took so long.

Second, I filled out the I-134 two months ago and gave it and the supporting documentation to my fiancee. Should I re-do that after NOA2 so it will be more current? Will they accept one that is 4 or 5 months old?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hi, I think it would be best to have the I-134 have a date closer to the interview date and your 2010 tax info and your latest check stubs. About your NOA1 if you look at the bottom page on your Timeline you will see this info about your estimated wait time. Our's was within the range they had estimated for us. Good Luck to you Both :)

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between June 7, 2011 and June 23, 2011*.

i agree i would send the form when ur fiance got her case number from the embassy. cuz when u guys get the noa2 then she will get a letter from the american embassy from her country with a new case number and in the letter it says what u guys need.

so send it then. cuz she needs ur tax return for the interview make it fresh as possible.

go with the no1 date whats on ur paper.and with ur noa2 count 6-7month in. the uscis is pretty slow. i know it sucks big time but stay in there keep checking ur case online if someone touched it or not. i wish u a FAST case. so that u get ur no2 quick. cuz waiting is the worst ever

1)Use the receipt date to estimate your NOA2

2) you want to send those documents after the NOA2 so it will be more current, everything should be as current as possible of course within reason since you have to mail papers abroad

good luck!!!
