Can anyone tell me why the US helped Bin Laden fight the Russians out of Afghanistan ?

At the time we felt it was in our own selfish best interest. Cold War. We backed Saddam in Iraq vs Iran too... Times change.

You could also have said that we did it for much the same reason we propped up Saddam back when. If I was a bad guy that was offered US support, I'd be sure to get my affairs in order. Never worked out well for any of them in the long run, did it?

The US was attacked on it's soil two times ( Pearl harbor ) and ( 911 attacks ) and both of them were a result of it's intervention in everybody's business

Had the US troops stayed in the US, none of these attacks would've ever happened

I don't support Hamas. but what i am saying is why get involved in a fight that is not your fight and breed terrorists that will be a nightmare for you for a long time.

An also during the course of these wars you kill civilians, A million died in Iraq and hundreds of thousands in Afghanistan.
