NVC Still Didn't Issue case Number

Hi guys, I received NOA2 on April 19th, I kept calling NVC daily last week and they are keep repeting : "give us 15 business days to receive an process". I can see that most of the applicants indicate like 3- 8 days for their cases to get to NVC and then to embassy; and I am getting this response from NVC. I'm worried that they might misplace our notices. Does anyone have suggestions? Why its taking too long?

It's not. That's the timeframe NVC has. We got our NOA2 on April 14 and still nada.

Our "15 business day" waiting period is up on Thursday, we'll see if we get anything by then. Hang in there!

I think the NVC is like USCIS: unpredictable. Last week we were told that our petition was in additional processing. Today, it's on its way to the consulate. Basically, I think it varies from case to case. Hope it goes quickly for you!

Thank you guys for your help! I called today to NVC and they told that they did receive the case and it will be forwarded to emmabssy in couple of days!!

you have to remind they talking bout buisness days thats monday-friday and then easter were so holiday and less working days.

we got our noa2 on april 5th and on april 29th i got finally the letter from the embassy.give them some time cuz it needs to be send out from the nvc to ur embassy and they need some days to. 3-4weeks is normal for it
