I am sorry. It is hard to wait so long and then get denied at the last step. But maybe us VJers can help you figure a way out of this. Why was it denied? From the way you write, you had a co-sponsor who got denied? What assets and earnings did you and the co-sponsor list?

Bye: Penguin

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Ok, several options so:

- Does he make enough right now, and can prove this by payslips and bank account lodgements? If not, can he take a second job? Even two evenings a week flipping burgers will add up.

- Did he list any assets (savings accounts, shares, 401K, property, cars etc)?

- The other option is a co-sponsor.

Does that mean I can have 2 Co-Sponsor? My husband not counted in?

Wait- I thought you only had your husband as sole sponsor? So you had your husband as a primary sponsor and a co-sponsor, and neither of them made the minimum? I am not sure why you'd have submitted a co-sponsor who didn't make the minimum? Afaik you can only have one co-sponsor (plus their household members, if relevant- such as if fling jointly with his wife), but I am not 100% on that.

Yes, but to be clear from your earlier question, the one joint sponsor must qualify on their own for their own family size plus the intending immigrant. If they don't qualify on their own personal income, they can combine income with other members of their own household. It's best to find a cosponsor with enough personal income. Your ultimate option is for the USC petitioner to obtain a job with sufficient income to sponsor on their own.

There are practical aspects to marriage and immigration that MUST be dealt with.

What about his assets? This can be the quickest way of getting the affadvit of support to be granted for your current situation. If he has enough in the bank...get a bank statement and send it in.

Good Luck!

I don't know all of your circumstances, but you are giving up your relationship because of this obstacle?? Maybe you can take time to relax and refocus and then you will feel better and approach this problem with a strong solution. However, if this causes you to give up so easily, perhaps this is fate and you would only find harder times in the future here. I hope you find what you want, but always know that VJ is here to help and support.:help::star:

The officer said we need to find a new one. I'm done with this. I don't have hope someone will help us.

It sounds like you need a good paying job now. Forget begging for co-sponsors. The trucking industry is in desperate need of man power. Don't know what you are doing now. But, it sounds to me like extra income is in order. I suggest you try trucking. You can train with one of the bigger companies, work for them for one year and move on to a better paying company. You will start at around $40,000 depending on miles driven. You will have a job for life. after about four years, you will be averaging 60-70K per year. Only a suggestion. You can start as early as next week if you do some serious investigating. I would try SWIFT Transport. They are the biggest operation in the US now and are always looking for drivers. If you have a decent driving record, no criminal record and a good work history, you will be a good candidate. Good luck. Alaways try to think outside that tiny box.

Yes, I'm quite depressed. No, I wouldn't give up my relationship. Thank you for your support.
