The People Celebrate Today...

:shistle:

Seriously though?

People celebrate and accept this distraction in their day? How sad we are as a nation.

It's utterly pathetic to ignore the transgressions of our military action. To think that killing the alleged mastermind of 9/11 changes anything. Guess what folks, it doesn't change a damn thing.

If anything, it makes it worse. Even MSNBC was talking about "yup, look for military personnel to be everywhere with automatic weapons in the coming days."

The troops aren't coming home/

The patriot act will not be repealed.

The TSA will continue molesting our wives and daughters.

The government will keep tossing out false flags to keep us ignoring the fact that they are destroying our currency, wasting trillions of dollars, and have ZERO intentions of changing course.

Yet all will celebrate this death. Thanking God. Praise be to Obama.

It's a truly sad day for this nation.

A distraction away from what's REALLY important.

May 1, 1945 - Adolph Hitler death announced.

Yes, yet keep on singing away people.

Eat it up.

Topic Title edited to be less inflammatory

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I see a great change. The one man we all wanted dead is dead now and we celebrate that death heartily. The rest we can beotch and whine about later after we are done celebrating.good.gif

Should we really celebrate anyone's death? Let's just use the moment so find some closure, and move on to the next crisis.

I find it sad to see Christians "thanking God" for Osama's death.

They are no better than the Islamic fundamentalists out there who "Praise Allah" every time one of their enemies is killed.

It's sad really.

How do you know they're Christians? Please don't generalize.

11"Say to them, 'As I live!' declares the Lord GOD, 'I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?'

Jeez, really Paul. How can I say this without violating the TOS? Nope, I can't. Use your imagination and think the worst thing I could say. Then multiply it by 100. That is what I think of your comments right now.
