I WANT TO MAKE SURE IF THE CR1 NON IMMIGRANT VISA WILL ALLOW MY WIFE TO WORK WHEN SHE ARRIVES HERE IN THE US OR DO I HAVE TO FILE A EAD AS WELL?

SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT SHE WILL BE ABLE TO WORK WITH A STAMP PERMIT ON HER PASSPORT WHEN SHE ARRIVES IN THE AIRPORT BUT THAT JUST DOESN'T SOUND RIGHT TO ME.

NO--the SS# is issued AFTER her visa is stamped at the port of entry--a few weeks normally. You can go to the SS office and speed it up a little, but it is only issued in conjunction with the green card

if i where you i would double check on the I 130 i could be wrong but last time i looked for at the information a I 130 or a CR 1 visa is a imigrent visa and if that is correct she will be able to work as soon as her ssn gets to you

It's in the USCIS website for non immigrant spouse: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=1d383e4d77d73210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=1d383e4d77d73210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD

I can't find info if she will be able to work though.

I only have a few months married so she will get the CR1.

The CR-1 is an immigrant visa and yes, she can work the day she arrives (there will be a stamp over the visa page in hr passport, given at POE, which allows this and acts as temp greencard until the physical one arrives). Most employers will require a SSN, which will arrive in the post 2-3 weeks after she arrives, or you can try calling to get it earlier.

FWIW, the CR1 is an immigrant visa, not a non-immigrant visa.

CR1 is work authorized but will need the SSN as others have stated.

So I don't have to worry about it then. I will actually go abroad and come back with her because she's afraid that they wont let her thru.

I can see the confusion--that page addresses both CR-1 and K-3 visas--CR-1 is definitely an immigrant visa. Just what you want !!

Tell her not to worry at all about getting into the US once she has the CR-1 visa in her passport--it takes 8 months--maybe more--to get thru all the CR-1 process, but then she can immigrate with you at her side with lots of smiles.
