i just wanted to add to the list too... my I-129F petition was approved yesterday July 7. checked USCIS website for my case and they said it's been approved. i didn't get an email or text but that's ok i check their site everyday anyways. i was just thinking, all that worrying and waiting for a NOA2 and now that i have it i have to start thinking about getting the next part together. i think the stress doesn't really ever go away... but i am still happy with my NOA2. oh forgot to mention my petition was sent to the california service center and my NOA1 was 4/19/11.

congrats to everyone that got their NOA2.

Congrats!!! Your NOA1 date is the same as mine so hopefully that means I might be soon too!!

DeeDee & Sam -- We, too, are in the March/April "in between" filing period as you can see by the timeline. Our NOA1 date is very similar to yours plus our petition also went to VSC. Checked on Igor's list and, as of today, only two VSC applicants with April NOA1 have received notice of NOA2:

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?visa=1&form=1&scenter=2&option=1&sortby=2

Although anybody's guess when receipt of NOA2 and although VSC trailing a bit behind CA in number of NOA2s as of this point, VSC seems to be picking up the pace which means the good news for you, us, and others in similar timeframe is NOA2 is hopefully "just around the bend" figuratively and relatively speaking.

If this were like a foot race, we would kindly and cheerfully challenge you to a race to the NOA2 and all the next important landmarks along this visa journey! :) I am willing to bet each check point would be a photofinish!! ;) However, will do the best that can do--keeping you and all others in thought and prayer and cheering everybody on. Soo...Onward and ever forward we go!!

--RK and Inday

P.S. Due to our similar timeline/center you can bet we'll be watching for your NOA2 as closely as ours!! :) And if hear anything on our end will let you know ASAP X 2. --RK & Inday

Also it should be noted that one of the two from April, the April 25th one, apparently filed for (and must have received) an expedited review. I don't know about the other one. Anyway, it does though look like we VSC people should be entering April soon! :-)

Thanks RK and Inday.

It definitely makes me glad to see that the VSC has picked up. At the time when I originally filed my petition, I was so morose thinking that there was no way our petition would be approved in 5 months. 6/7 months looked more like a probably time frame to go from NOA1 to NOA2.

Given the recent pace of the VSC, even 4 months seems like a possibility.

Ami and I are planning a December wedding in New York, hopefully things will work out to our liking.

And finally, its definitely good to be in the midst of all the filers who filed around my time. A very warm hello to all April filers from Ami and myself.

Cheers,

Chigs

yeah ive been aware of the 2 april filers aprooved from vsc but they are there for a while, and one of them is definately an expedite (army i suppose). since then vsc is quiet. now the really frustrating thing is that vj statistics show they are approving march 6th when actually middle/end march noa2 are appearing like mushrooms after rain. dunno what to believe, id be happy even with a rfe. well not long to wait for us now. and duuh i followed your timeline :D
