On the notice of I-485 interview, I was told that I need "a completed Affidavits of Support (Form I-864)" and "A completed medical examination (Form I-693)". They also mentioned that we do not need to bring them if they are already submitted.

I did submit my I-864 and my I-693 when I mail the application in, but there is nowhere to check if they really have those forms on file (or please let me know if there is a way to check). Should I bring them just in case? They require I-693 in a sealed envelop, but since I already mailed the seal version with the other applications, is bringing an unsealed version OK?

Thanks so much!

As you read it says "unless already submitted." Then in another section it says to bring copies of everything you sent before. So I would bring a photocopy of the entire package. As far as I-693, I don't think a copy will help anyway, because for it to be satisfactory they need the sealed one. It is unusual for them to lose anything from your package, so I wouldn't worry about that. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
