I'm (US CITIZEN) am sponsoring my husband. We do have 3 children together but they are US citizens.

So the number I'm sponsoring would be '1'. Where it states household size "DO NOT COUNT PEOPLE TWICE" It asked to enter the total number of person's being sponsored, "1" Then is states if you are married enter "1" for your spouse. Here I would be double counting him- so where do I enter "0" so that he is not double counted ???

oh - on other question. For my address what do I put - our address in Australia (where I have lived for the past 7 years) or the address where we intend to live in the US ? Myself and the children will be moving back to the US in the middle of June before my husband has his interview to get them settled and enrolled in school etc. (so we will be in this home before we submit the I184). We own this home in the US and have for the past 5 yrs - have paid utility bills / property tax etc. and my local driver's license has this address.

thank you so much for any help.

If you look again 21c is for a spouse NOT BEING SPONSORED. As you are sponsoring your spouse this line would be a zero.

I'm sorry I can't be of much help, but I just wanted to chime in b/c I'm going over the forms right now and have this exact same question  (regarding what to fill in for the spouse on the I-184). So thanks for posting this question; it is indeed confusing. Can anyone else confirm that where it says 'if you are married enter "1" for your spouse' you should put a 0 if you are sponsoring your spouse ??

I put my Australian address. It seemed to work ok - they actually need you to be resident in Australia to do DCF.

Thanks for the reply. But i was wondering on paperwork I 184. I did put my Australia address on the I 130 and DS 230 but by the time the Interview comes around myself and our children will have moved back to the US to get settled and enroll the kids in summer camps / schools etc. (it will only be about 2/3 weeks ahead of his arrival to the US0 So I was just wondering for my address when my husband presents the I 184 at his interview did you use your Australian address at this time too ?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions. I will also email the consulate to perhaps see what they want to see.
