One of my Vietnamese co-workers swears that you can sell fabric softner sheets for the dryer for USD$50 in Vietnam if you can find the right people to buy it. Any truth to this?

Sure its true. Follow the scent to the laundry rooms of the people doing the rich peoples shirts. Most people believe wind velocity reduces the life of the sheets if used outside.

Quick! Go there now making $$$ selling Downy before I steal your idea!

PS. I'm warning you! Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung is my uncle! I'll be asking him to pass a law tomorrow making it illegal to sell Downy in VN, except only if the seller's name is Dau Que!

Just remember, life over there in VN is NOT real! Your money will be worth a LOT less once you get back over here. Back to reality, cowboy!

If there was such a huge markup/demand.. then they would be asking if you had dryer sheets and not iphones or ipads at the airport...

When I was living in Vietnam less than 2 years ago I was able to buy dryer sheets at Metro on Xa lo Hanoi. But anyways not a lot of people have dryers in VN to make a big demand for it... Money maker right now is exports and outsourcing labor. I would look into outsourcing labor to make easy money.

The central Post Office in Saigon is hiring lots and lots of workers right now (starting pay from $15 to $18, depending on your productivity). Due to the tremendous high gas price, the gov't is unable to keep up with the demand of water. The Post office can't afford to pay for water and it wants hard working ppl like you, that are willing to lick your tongues on stamps for its customers.

Lots of folks spit on the streets so often and it's such a waste of saliva. Furthermore, by promoting this program, it'll help to create a more sanitized environment for Saigon! If you're able to work legally in VN, common hurrying up yourselves to the Central PO now!

You and your family probably prefer to do that type of work but I was talking about outsourcing IT personel and programmers to make software much cheaper than what they offer in the united states. Thats cool if you want to promote the spreading of hepatitis more but my tongue can not with hold that type of work. That's not the job for me.
