Hi everyone!

Perhaps a stupid question, but how do I know which USCIS center will be handling my paperwork??

I'm filing for an I129f for my Italian fiancé. We are both permanent residents in Italy. We are planning to move to California after our paperwork is **hopefully** approved!!

I'm assuming this means our petition will be handled by the California Service Center... but just wanted to make sure.

U.S. Citizens petitioning for K-3 visas for their alien spouses must include a copy of the Form I-797C, Notice of Action, showing they have filed Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, on behalf of their spouse listed on the form.

FWIW the process would be much faster if you decided to marry now and file for a spousal visa through the embassy there in Italy. Especially if having your new spouse be able to work upon entry in the US is important.
