I need to include an attachment for work history with my G-325A. But since there are 4 pages of the G-325A and they all seem to be for different departments, should there also be 4 attachments? If there's anyone else who had an attachment on the G-325A, did you have success with just one page?

Thanks in advance,

Mat

That sounds like a good plan of action! Attach a copy to each page.

I included a work history supplement with my fiance's G-325A. I only put one page, and it doesn't have his signature because I prepared it after he sent me his papers. I don't know yet if it's okay! But I too am interested in what other people have experienced with this.

The guide on this site says to sign and date attachments, so I would have them signed if it's possible. I don't see anything on the I-129F instructions about signing and dating though, so you might be okay.

Yeah.. I guess we'll see. I am a little worried about that too. At the time I was so impatient to send the packet out I didn't want to wait for my fiance to post me a signed copy of that supplement. I should probably have him send it to me now in anticipation of an RFE. I think it might not be a problem, though. His work history is complete on the actual form that he signed, the supplement just adds the gaps when he was unemployed and in school.

I would definitely get it now so you can turn it around if you get an RFE. This post:

Mentions that gaps in the timeframes often lead to RFE. But best of luck! :D

Mat,

Are you sure? More than 5 different employers in the last 5 years? (If you've been changing jobs that much you may possibly face a problem with sponsorship.)

It's only 5 employers, but there are periods of unemployment as well. So I need 6 lines. It's kind of frustrating, but I don't see another way.

Mat,

Why do you need 6 lines for 5 periods of employment? Way - forget the periods of unemployment.

Hmm, this frightens me a little. I graduated from college last year, and while in school was working 2-3 jobs at all times, so my employers in the last 5 years is upwards of 5-6 (after all, going back 5 years puts me at 18). But, after school, I've been working a full-time job (without unemployment period) and if I do end up switching jobs before our interview, there will be no time of unemployment. I'm worried if this will be of concern to the consular? I will be making more than enough to cover the 125%, but maybe I should think about having a sponsor lined up just in case they are concerned about my job history?

Cass,

Consider context, which we don't have for Mat (why I wrote "may possibly") but we do have for you.

As a recent college graduate in a first job your potential problem is establishing that your current income is sustainable, as you have little work history post-school. It probably would be prudent to have an alternate sponsor lined up.

As for changing jobs before the interview, a lot will depend on why you change jobs. Moving to a higher level position with a substantial increase in salary will make a very different impression than being fired for cause from the previous job. Again - context.

When I submitted my petition I also needed an attachment for my fiance's work history on the G-325 forms. However, stupid me only sent in 1 copy of the attachment (I don't know what I was thinking since there are 4 copies of the G-325A and they all go to different departments). I have yet to find out if this will be a cause for a RFE. However, I did have my fiance sign the attachment. I typed it out and sent it to him via email as an attachment. He printed it out and mailed it to me via regular mail (well he actually used express mail and it arrived in like 4 days but cost him around 30 dollars to send, he also had to send me his signed G-325A forms).
