NVC documents ...time until case complete?

NVC has officially received all our documents between thursday and friday april 29th. I had a false RFE for the AOS package on Thursday, called NVC Friday morning and they said the ds230 pkg entered on thursday looked good just waiting on aos package. Friday afternoon they loaded the aos package for review. Unless we get an RFE how soon can we expect to see SIF or case complete and interview scheduled?

It'll probably be about one more week or so and your case should be complete (if no RFE). About the interview date to be scheduled, that varies with all consulates/embassies. Some people find out within a few days, others (like myself) have to wait weeks. It all depends how busy your consulate/embassy is.

Thanks as always for your replies Hopefully I sent everything I needed to send...and they wont' send a REAL RFE They said my ds 230 looked fine but were waiting on the AOS and for that package I sent:

AOS form with cover letter and barcode on top

Job letter of employment with paystubs going back to Jan 1st

past 3 yrs tax records and w2's (because I filed jointly during my separation prior to divorce so i thought they needed a detail of my own personal earnings) and because I just filed for 2010 I didnt have a tax transcript

401K information with divident pay out info as well as if liquidated what it would be after penalties etc as well as showing my husband as beneficiary of the account

bank statements and letter from bank stating my husband as POD (paid on death) bcos he can't get joint until he has SSN

every single child support check copy since receiving child support for the girls

the parenting information showing what court ordered child support

and the kitchen sink lol just checking to see if you noticed

I just pray that is all they need without RFE and we can move onto interview...our 1st Anniversary is getting really close Just want to celebrate with him like we should on our 1st anniversary

Looks like you sent in everything for the AOS package. Not sure what the officer will think of the kitchen sink though

And I wish you the best of luck that you two can be together for your 1st year anniversary. Everyone deserves to be together on that day.
