We got an email this morning saying that our green card production was ordered on 02/21/2012 and it will arrive within 30 days.

This is the first email we have received from USCIS since we started the I -175 process.

Got a second email in one day ....12 hours apart... The two emails are identical.

Hoping to see more approvals by Tommorrow.

I'm new here, but I have to admit I've been checking on this board quite often to see how everyone is progressing with their applications. I received my card on Feb 15th. I knew I got approved when I received the card production email on Feb 11th. On Feb 13th, they sent me 2 emails back to back. One said they sent the card, the other one said that USPS has picked it up. On the 16th, they sent me yet another email to let me know USPS reported successful delivery of the card. I never received any text messages although I signed up for it. My husband and I are so happy; we've been through so much. I wish you guys the best and pray to God that everybody will get their approval soon.

My time line:

Date of I-751: May 07, 2011

NOA1 Date: May 30, 2011

Biometrics: June 23, 2011

Approved: Feb 11, 2012

Card Received: Feb 15, 2012

I finally got an official email saying that the card had been ordered as of 2/21/12. I had heard from the attorney last week though, so presumably she got the actual approval date letter (for some reason I have not). Is the date above the "approval date" or not?

And the card ordered for production date is 02/21/2012 in the email.

So your date on the email is the production ordered date and your approval date should be an earlier one on the NOA approval notice.

Ok. I heard from the attorney on 2/16, and I think she contacted me on the same day she received approval, so I guess that's my likely approval date.

Does the lawyer send you all your notices after your paper work is through or they keep it with them?

she's keeping them, but will send if I ask. I have sort of a unique situation in which an immigration attorney is a friend of the family. So, I started out DIYing everything but when she offered to take things over, I couldn't say no. I think I could have done it all myself, but it is nice having another set of eyes on things.

If it was us... I would ask.... Even if a friend...... To keep .,,,our records for ourselves for future reference instead of depending on someone else to pull out papers if we needed to look.... Atleast all the NOAs....yes with VJ and USCIS website information and help it can be done on your own.

But then everyone sees things differently and u guys did what u thought was best for you'll.

Bad instinct. We, the rest of may filers, most likely are the unlucky ones. This entire week there is no new approval, even very few new approvals for june filers. That reminded me when most april filers were approved, the rest of cases became cold cases, either approved very late, or still no action till now. I feel we are treated the same way, probably we won't see any new approval anytime soon, we just have to fight with uscis. For whatever the reason they don't give a word about our application, it's unfair. It's not that they have not touched our cases,I believe that they have some internal control, and it will take long time for the higher ranked officer to make a decision on our cases or committee decision. I hope I am wrong, but it seems this is the cruel fact. Uscis does something that they never want outsiders to know.
