Lol, we are in the same boat. I also called them today and was told the same thing. No call USCIS anymore, will PATIENTLY wait for 20 days and see what will happen. I have a strong feeling that they deliberately delay some cases, esp. cases from countries with high number of immigrants, so they can control the diversity.

Seems many May filers have not been approved, combining database here and trackitt.com.

But the thing is if very few June filers are approved, then it means the process is normal. However, many June filers have been approved so far, so it raises some concern that there is something wrong with our documents? like it is left somewhere they will not reach? they lose our documents? they have doubt about our applications? They play psychological games with us? or what else? Really confusing.

I traveled outside the US with the extension letter twice, no problem. Make sure to take your green card (even if its expired) and the original extension letter.

the second part of the question, I am not sure about. hopefully others can help you.

They took my expired Green card at local office and put stamp in my passport.

OK. I checked unapproved VSC filers' profile...

At first, we missed this update!! So, found 1 approval

GC arrived yesterday!!!! :dance:

Go VSC Go!!!!

And Madwoman updated her status 1/9 "Approved!" so 1 more approval

And I found two Harry_Sidhu! So I'm deleting wrong date one. 1 applicant eliminated...

These 9 members haven't logged in long time. So we don't know if they are already approved or not...

For those of you still waiting hang in there. I think approval dates are based on local office processing dates rather than VSC in general. It seems VSC pretty much are the admin hub, making sure files are added to the national system, arranging biometrics, ensuring card is produced after approval. My actual approval letter came from the Tampa office and others have commented that theres also came from there local office, so this May 2nd date the NSC has been giving us is probably the date that the most behind office is processing. I pretty sure you will here in the next few weeks!

With the rate at which VSC processes, you should only be worried if your application takes longer than nine and a half months. If it has not reached that time as yet, just count it as VSC working pace. What you need to do, is ask the agent to transfer you to a level two officer, as the level one agent sees nothing more that what you see on their website.

I'm in Davenport, as far North and East as you can be and still be classed as Tampa Bay Area ( I live 20 min from Disneyworld!!!). lol. The Orlando Field Office is actually nearer to me, but immigration insist that i go through the Tampa Office as i'm in Polk County, which sucks as the Orlando office is 40 min away and Tampa is 90 min away.

I hope you letter comes soon too!!!

According to 2 databases on this site and another, this is not true, how they dont know all regulations about their processing??? And she said my case didnt reviewed yet.

This is driving me nuts (( In the middle of march Im going to file N400, and will go to interview with my wife, hope it will help, and will get my approval in same day.

Sigh! It is frustrating! I called USCIS today again and talked with level 2 officer, and was told my FBI security check has not clear yet. The last update in their system about FBI security check was at the end of December. And they can do nothing about it. But they also told me that this delay will not affect the process like RFE or interview, and they just simply cannt make a decision before FBI security is clear, even if after RFE or interview is done. In addition, I was told to wait for another 45 days, till out of processing time, then they can open a service request for me. It is frustrating! I guess I have a bad luck this year.
