Hi everyone,

I had already posted that my ROC appl was approved on Jan 25th. I received the approval letter on the 28th.

Until now I had not received any text updates about this, and the USCIS site still said my case was under review. Today, I got a text from USCIS saying my case had been updated, and on their website it says my greencard was mailed out yesterday (waiting to receive that now).

So it can take a bit of time between getting your approval, and receiving your gc. GL to all still waiting!

We just called USCIS a couple of days ago. We sent ROC paperwork to Vermont May 14, and they received it May 20. The rep told us they were working on May 2, and I thought I would share that.

On a related note, Vika delayed her biometric appointment into July because she was in Ukraine visiting her parents/grandparents. The rep said this shouldn't delay anything.

We received the approval letter in the mail today, dated February 1. No interview required apparently.

Sorry about this turn of events. I understand your frustration/worry/fear since we got an interview notice as well. We had our interview last month and all went well, but up to that point, it was a few weeks of no sleep and little appetite. Hang in there and focus on getting yourself as prepared as possible. The questions they asked us weren't anything a typical married couple wouldn't know - how many cars you have, where is your bedroom in the house, what hours each person works, etc.

Good luck. If I can give you any info about our interview that might help, let me know.

Good luck to your interview. And congratulate to people who already got approved.

My NOA date was May 31st, 2011. Still waiting. Called USCIS many times, but was always told they are processing May 2nd cases and cannt open a SR for me. But many May filers were already approved and even some June filers are approved, I am getting really frustrated. Just hope all the rest of May filers can get our approval ASAP.
