NOBODY CAN HELP ME TO EXPLAIN THAT ?

Tried to check your timeline to see when you filed. A lot of people get random answers from the USCIS office that don't reflect the true situation that applies to your paperwork and approval. I find VJ threads a better resource. Did you file in May?

Hey everyone! So i called USCIS today...its been about a month and a half since i called them to follow up on my status. Got thru to "devon" who advised me he couldnt find my application/status even with my receipt number, ..#######??? So he told me that he had to put me thru to another person to help...after a very stressful 10for minute wait...got thru to a lady "officer boswell" and i explained to her what just happened and that is why i got thru to her ....and then she told me....

"Well it looks like your application has been approved on Dec 30".

Oh yeah!!!! Hallelujah!!!! Omg!!!! Im so excited!!!! Ive been approved!!!!

She advised to wait a few weeks to receive the approval letter and GC. In fact, she even said that "it looks like right now they are making your GC". I have no idea if she can actually see that or if she made up that bit.... but anyways... i am so over the moon right now. Just gotta wait for the mail now!

Happy ....so very happy! :-)

Wow!!! Nice work. So tempted to call now. If I hear nothing by the end of this month I think I will give it a try. Congrats!! Keep us posted about arrival of card and all.

Hey All! Thank you so much for the well-wishes!!! Ive still got my fingers and toes crossed for everyone else! January will be a good month for all of us!! :thumbs:

Just to let ya'll know, I did not receive any text messages or email advising me of the approval. Nothing has been touched since they received my application way back in May.....nothing in my junk email box either...and I am sure I wouldnt have received anything till the actual letter in the mail if i didnt call them today.

Till i get the GC in my hands I think I am still gonna be stressing a lil a bit :wacko: (when I get it in the mail I will let everyone know!)

Hi all!! So a day after i called USCIS and was told i am approved....finally today..its 6pm here and just got a text that my status is updated! Checked my email and received one at 5.45pm saying on 5th Jan they ordered my card!

Yipee!! So from my calculations...takes approx 6 days from approval to card production and text/email updates!!

April-August... Took a break from the process in order to move back from USVI to mainland USA.

08/07/17... Paid the IV Fees for both my parents ($325 each) today

08/23/17... Called NVC because payment still showing "In Process", was advised to email proof of payment to have them manually correct it

08/24/17... CEAC website shows "Paid" and can now have parents' DS-260 forms filled in.
