Well im hoping that VSC are processing May now...by the looks of my post and J&N79's post...if they are saying we cant put in a service request unless they are in May...and then when i called, i could actually make a request...so this meas they are processing May?

Anyhoo, i got the standard reply from USCIS after making my service request ...email says to wait within 60 days of the letter for a result...let's see !! At least the end is somewhat in sight!? Fingers crossed!

03/01/17... Status online shows application sent to NVC 

03/17/17... Received emails from NVC for next steps!

03/21/17... Went online to Choose an Agent

03/28/17... Received emails from NVC confirming Agent selection and to proceed with the next step (paying fees!)

04/05/17... Paid the $120 Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee online today (Also eligible to pay the $325 Fee but will wait before doing so...)

April-August... Took a break from the process in order to move back from USVI to mainland USA.

08/07/17... Paid the IV Fees for both my parents ($325 each) today

08/23/17... Called NVC because payment still showing "In Process", was advised to email proof of payment to have them manually correct it

08/24/17... CEAC website shows "Paid" and can now have parents' DS-260 forms filled in.

our'####### 6 months on last Friday I think :)

we hope to receive any type of mail from VSC by end of this year but we'll see..

USCIS received my petition to remove conditions on May 3rd and still nothing (only the biometrics)

As soon as I hear something I will let you know.....although that makes too much sense that when I hear something the other may filers will hear something!!!

Btw, I just took my NCLEX exam today and I felt good about it. There's a quick/trick to check if somebody passed so I guess I did. What a day!!!

My unsolicited advise is, as soon as you hit the 6 month mark, call them so at least they know somebody is waiting. I know its lame but there's no harm of trying. I did and I got an answer even the person on the other line said i have to wait for another 9 days. If that's a mere coincidence that's fine. The good thing is...there's result.

We're CSC and we've now hit the 6-month mark from NOA1 date. What's the number to call or is it the (800) 375-5283 number listed on the receipt notice under the Laguna Niguel address?
